Copycat

I know I'm not the only one...

but, just the thought of cutting my girls' hair brings me almost physical pain.

Dramatic, I know.

But really.

Londyn got her first haircut today!

Today's challenge was to find an inspiring look and copy it!

Now, before you laugh hysterically like I am...

keep in mind that this girl is like a hundred pounds lighter than me and about a billion times more tan. She's hot okay.

Making my task that much more difficult!

I just have always loved the idea of a high wasted pencil skirt, which I could never and would never attempt to pull off. Thank you twins for that extra pouch of love chillin' on my bod.

And also, I love how the fashion faux pas of mixing black and brown is executed perfectly in her outfit.

My brown boots looked ridiculous...

so I'm wearing a little more black than originally planned.

What did I learn today?

That even though I was super self conscious about wearing something so completely out of my comfort zone...nobody noticed.

I've always felt that if you look someone in the eye when you're talking to them, they'll never notice what you wearing!

So, either my theory worked today...or my outfit wasn't totally out in left field like I felt it was!
